International Nurses Day 2025

On Monday 12th May we celebrated IND 2025. There was excellent engagement at the event with a focus on wellbeing and support of our nurses.  The practice development team arranged for stalls of treats, complimentary therapy sessions courtesy of the Beatson Cancer Charity Wellbeing Centre and prizes. The NHSGGC Equality and Human Rights Team and Chaplaincy teams and peer support talked to all the staff who attended and were so impressed by the commitment to person centred care and anti-discriminatory practice.  

On International Nurses Day we celebrate the incredible role of nursing, the dedication, professionalism and expertise of our nurses. This year prizes were awarded based on reflective accounts submitted by nursing staff who shared recent experiences of the value and importance of working with supportive colleagues and the value and impact this can have when dealing with complex situations. Thank you for all of the entries submitted.
