Audrey Leonard

Audrey Leonard is the Senior Research Nurse supporting a portfolio of breast clinical trials being delivered in the out-patient setting in Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.  She joined the Beatson CRF in 2009, having been a chemotherapy nurse in the former Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow for several years prior to this. 

As a Research Nurse, she provides the link between researchers, health professionals and people affected by cancer.  

She facilitates the delivery of clinical trials and studies, with the overall aim of getting new treatments into the clinic sooner.  

All Research Nurses play a key role as patient advocate, ensuring patient safety and protection by working to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and providing exemplary support throughout the patient’s journey on a clinical trial.
