Dr Stefano Schipani
Dr Schipani is a consultant clinical oncologist at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre and honorary clinical senior lecturer at the Institute of Cancer Sciences, University of Glasgow.
Dr Schipani graduated in medicine and specialised in radiation oncology in Milan, Italy.
He completed his higher degrees in Detroit MI, USA (fellowship in radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy) and Glasgow, UK (MD cancer studies research).
He is committed to excellence of care. His clinical practice covers eye, head & neck and skin cancers. He has experience in radiotherapy for benign conditions such as thyroid eye disease, eye benign tumours, keloids, palmar and plantar fibromatosis.
He contributes to medical teaching and education at the University of Glasgow.
He is actively involved in research and development. He is a member of the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) head & neck research group. He contributes to national and international clinical trials. He published in numerous medical journals.
