PET CT Centre

The West of Scotland PET/CT Centre is a purpose-built facility with space for 2 PET/CT systems, a cyclotron and associated laboratory facilities.

Key to the operation of the centre is the team of specialist staff from a range of disciplines (clinicians, clinical technologists, medical physicists, radiopharmacists and administrative staff).

Patients attending for a PET/CT scan will be sent an appointment letter, patient information leaflet and map showing our location. This should provide all the information regarding where and when to attend, what preparation is required and answer any other questions you may have. Additional information about PETCT is available here: PET (Positron Emission Tomography) - NHSGGC. The department can be contacted on 0141 301 7800.
